Grace's Day - Young Lives vs Cancer
Friday 16th February 2024

Grace was a little girl who attended Crosshall Nursery and Infant School but who sadly died from leukaemia.

On Friday 16th February, as an annual memorial to Grace,  we asked the children to dress in pink (Grace’s favourite colour), purple or red in memory of Grace. The children also be tied ribbons to Grace’s tree as a mark of remembrance. The tree grows in front of the Kids Club building.

During Grace’s illness Grace and her family were supported by Young Lives Vs Cancer, so we asked for donations to this charity, on this day.

Young Lives vs Cancer is a charity set up to care for children and young people with cancer and their families in hospital and the community:

Everyone looked amazing in their pink, purple and red and we are also grateful for the donations to the charity.

If you still wish to make a donation then please access the school’s Just Giving page:

Crosshall Infant School Academy Trust supports St Neots Foodbank

Friday 20th October - A Harvest Festival Assembly was held for the whole school at which we collected specific donations for the St Neots Foodbank.

The school regularly work in partnership with this organisation to ensure they have sufficient items for those members of the local community who need to access this service.

The School Council collected the donations from the classrooms and displayed them in the hall ready for assembly. The items were then loaded into crates ready for collection by the Foodbank.

Silver Collection for The Children's Society

The children thoroughly enjoyed performing their Christmas Concerts to parents and extended family members throughout the final weeks of the autumn term.

Following the concerts a silver collection was taken and in total £ 348.56 was raised for The Children's Society.
