Grace's Day - Young Lives vs Cancer
Friday 16th February 2024
Grace was a little girl who attended Crosshall Nursery and Infant School but who sadly died from leukaemia.
On Friday 16th February, as an annual memorial to Grace, we asked the children to dress in pink (Grace’s favourite colour), purple or red in memory of Grace. The children also be tied ribbons to Grace’s tree as a mark of remembrance. The tree grows in front of the Kids Club building.
During Grace’s illness Grace and her family were supported by Young Lives Vs Cancer, so we asked for donations to this charity, on this day.
Young Lives vs Cancer is a charity set up to care for children and young people with cancer and their families in hospital and the community: https://www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk/
Everyone looked amazing in their pink, purple and red and we are also grateful for the donations to the charity.
