ABOUT OUR GOVERNORS

Keith Martin (Chair of Governors)

I joined the Governing Body as a Parent Governor in 2004, my daughter attended the Infant School and is now attending the Junior School. My son attends the Nursery School and both children attend the Crosshall kids Club. I have been appointed Vice Chair of the Governing  Body.

I come from a Defence and Information Technology back ground. I am performing a Delivery Project Executive Role and work at all levels within both in Public and Private sectors. I hope to utilise my skills that I have gained in my career in support of the school and the various committees I am a member of.

Mark Fenton (Vice Chair of Governors)

I have been a member of the governing body since July 2008, as a parent governor, having moved to the area in September 2007.  Professionally, I am a senior manager in the food industry, and I hope to continue to utilise my business management skills to support the school.

Christine Henderson

Having recently retired from a Headship of a Cambridgeshire Primary School, I'm looking forward to being part of an efficient team of governors. Both of my children enjoyed and had an enriching education at the Crosshall Schools and I myself found teaching in them stimulating and rewarding. Education is an important part of my life and, in my role as a Governor, I value the opportunity of helping to promote a good learning environment for our children.

Samantha Gilliam

I have recently been appointed to the Board of Governors and am delighted to be joining this dedicated team. We moved to St Neots, from London, three and a half years ago.  I currently have a son in Year 2 and a daughter in Reception and both are happy and thriving at Crosshall. It's been a pleasure to see how they are developing.

I taught for several years in Luton and London in Junior and Primary schools and have been a full-time mother since having children.  My aim is   to support the school through my role as parent governor whilst learning and gaining experience in how the school is run, continuing to help in  class and supporting the fund-raising activities.

One morning a month I volunteer at a local toddler group.
